As an active, problem solving organization, the strength of the Chamber lies in its membership, small businesses, large corporations, home-based businesses, and professional men and women, working together to enhance the quality of life in Brea. Whatever your interest, there's sure to be a committee that suits you!

Legislative Advocacy
This committee is responsible for generating a healthy climate for economic, business, industrial, and civic growth, and identifies areas of concern. This committee is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and helping to formulate legislative issues, holds forums with local, state, and national governmental officials, evaluates ballot issues that affect local businesses and the community and makes recommendations to the Chamber Board for endorsements. It works with the North Orange County Legislative Alliance to establish common legislative goals that will benefit the region. Committee members also work hand-in-hand with Chamber staff to plan, organize and promote local candidate forums and legislative trips to Sacramento.

Workforce Development
This program encourages on-going interaction between the business community and local educational institutions in order to ensure a skilled and productive workforce. Initiatives include Brea Young Professionals, Internships, Business Connection Events, Business Education Seminars, and the Chamber's leadership program.

Community Development
This program encourages on-going interaction between the business community and Brea's service clubs and non-profit organizations. Quarterly roundtables allow these groups to coordinate event calendars and fundraisers, network and share valuable information for 501(c)3 organizations.

Ambassadors
Ambassadors are responsible for promoting a professional atmosphere in which to establish business contacts. Committee members serve as greeters at Chamber functions, welcome new members to the Chamber and encourage member participation through phone calls and personal contacts. They help introduce new members to Chamber activities by serving as 'buddies' during a new member's first year. Find out more.
